Landes specialises in CNC machining aluminium, steel and plastics, for example. We realise that you can get this kind of CNC turning done elsewhere – but not all the alternatives offer the same level of accuracy as Landes.

- Some metals, such as titanium, are poor conductors of heat, while CNC machining such a metal generates considerable heat. How can this be dissipated and how do you monitor the temperature?
- Metals such as High Alloy Steel and Hastelloy are very difficult to machine. Tools wear quickly. Which techniques give the longest tool life and how can this be checked during the process?
